Painting lesson at Retirement & Assisted Living Facility "ADORO"
- Since the spring of 2024, twice a month, I have been going to conduct Painting classes in Riga - LATVIA, in a residence for the care of the elderly.

- Before each lesson, I prepare an example at home of what we could do!
- We paint with oil, watercolors, real jam, crayons on canvas, on paper, on glass, on paper plates - on all kinds of surfaces on which you can put paint! I brought a new technique and idea to each class to make the art process truly inspiring! So, you may ask, what is with that jam?! I cook jams for the winter time from the berries in my garden. I donated one bottle of jam for the wonders of art!
Sometimes some gentleman or lady just sit with us, keeping us company. The art process can also be being together in a room where the creative spirit is in the air:)
- With great pleasure, I help to fulfill some long-cherished dreams about painting. Already in the first lesson, beautiful, unexpected works of art for the participants themselves were painted! Someone picked of the brush for the very first time in their life, someone had done it very long time ago someone's life was once connected with a creative occupation.
- Memories, thoughts, joy, emotions, mood - all this can be expressed with color, diving into the world of endless inspiration!
- The healing effects of ART were most accurately formulated by one of the class participants, saying: "After every painting class, my mood improves"!
- Art liberates, art lets thoughts fly, art heals!
